On behalf of the organising committee, IAM and MoniQA, I would like to thank you for your participation at the latest edition of the Joint IAM/MoniQA Workshops in Budapest prior to the CCMAS Meetings. We can look back at another successful meeting with interesting presentations and your active involvement in the discussions. Overview:
Following on from the successful series of Workshops held immediately prior to the recent Sessions of CCMAS the IAM/MoniQA Workshop organisers were asked by delegates to further develop a number of issues of concern. In particular they were asked to consider whether it would be appropriate to develop a Workshop to discuss “choosing the right laboratories for official control”. This has become particularly important given the increasing tendency for “commercial” laboratories to be used for such work in a number of countries.
This Workshop will therefore:
